Insight on Brianna’s (Bri) Journey!

Don’t miss out on this interview! The truth about PTSD, Depression, and Anxiety is that we can often track it back to the impacts of our experiences on our mental health throughout childhood and adolescence. Bri talks about how her mental health challenges begun 13 years before receiving treatment. There were many reasons for this, but one of the most prominent reasons for her was the stigma around seeking treatment.

Bri gives some phenomenal tips/tricks around gaining control in your life and the many ways individuals can receive treatment. The best part about her tips/tricks is that she has implemented them in her own life based on her experiences and desire to cope and heal.

Let’s normalize sharing our mental health journeys the tragedies, trials, and triumphs. Our stories are full of the complexities that come with mental health challenges, and that makes them powerful. If we do not normalize talking about our trials, we will continue to live most of our days in the dark alone. If you have experienced mental health challenges, you know that working through these things alone is an ineffective way to cope and heal.

Note: There was a technical issue toward the end of the interview, I chose to post this interview despite it. Accepting this technical issue and the result of it is in efforts to continue making progress on my mental health journey and the work I am doing to relinquish myself from the idea of perfection.
